Questions You’re Probably Asking

  • A digital program is self-guided - you get the complete workout plan with videos and instructions, but I'm not there in real-time. It's like having a detailed roadmap without a GPS that talks to you. Good for self-motivated people who want structure but don't need (or can't afford) hands-on coaching. If you want real-time form corrections, personalized adjustments, and direct access to me? That's 1:1 or virtual training.

  • My Intro to Lifting program is designed specifically for beginners! But here's the reality: it's self-guided, which means I can't answer questions as they come up or correct your form in the moment. The videos show you exactly how to do everything, but if you're someone who needs that hands-on guidance and immediate feedback, In-Person 1:1 or virtual training might be better for you. Be honest with yourself about what you need to succeed.

  • The program includes video demonstrations for proper form, but since it's self-guided, you'll need to listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right, skip it or modify it. I can't give you personalized substitutions or adjustments through a digital program - that's what 1:1 coaching is for. If you have injuries or limitations that need professional attention, go with personal training instead.

  • Not with the digital program - it's fully self-guided. You're working independently with the materials provided. If you need ongoing support, real-time guidance, or someone to answer questions as they come up, check out my 1:1 or virtual training options instead. Those come with full access to me.

  • The Intro to Lifting program is 30 days. It's designed to teach you the fundamentals and build your confidence in the gym. After that? You have options:

Repeat the program with heavier weights

    • The program works for multiple rounds

    • Increase your weights by 5-10% and run it again

    • You'll still see gains for 2-3 cycles

Move to another program (coming soon)

    • Intermediate lifting program (8 weeks)

    • Strength-focused program (12 weeks)

    • Programs launching [timeline - check with Gelli]

    Hire me for personalized coaching

    • You've learned the basics, now you want customization

    • I'll apply your digital program purchase as credit toward your first training package

    • We build on what you've already learned

Train independently with your new knowledge

    • You learned proper form and programming basics

    • You feel confident designing your own workouts now

    • You continue training solo at the gym

  • This program requires gym equipment - dumbbells, barbells, machines, benches. It's specifically designed to teach you how to lift at a gym. If you're looking for home workouts, this isn't the right fit. But if you've got a gym membership and you're ready to actually use it? This is perfect for you.

  • Since it's self-guided, you'll need to adjust weights and intensity based on how it feels for you. The program gives you the framework, but you control the difficulty by choosing appropriate weights and how hard you push. If you need someone to program progressive overload and make ongoing adjustments based on your progress, that's what personal training provides.

  • Different tools for different needs. A digital program is way more affordable and gives you structure and education. But it's not the same as having a real person coaching you, correcting your form, and adapting things based on how your body responds. Think of it this way: a digital program is like a really good textbook. Personal training is like having a tutor who knows you. Both valuable, different purposes.

STILL USING THE 30-DAY PROGRAM AND HAVE MORE QUESTIONS?

Remember: this is a self-guided program, so I can't provide ongoing support or answer individual questions. But if there's a technical issue (video won't load, instructions are unclear), email me at angeica@valiosawellness.com and I'll fix it.
